Hello from Italy...from Kimmie and Halsten!
So far on our trip, we have met many different people. Our new teammates from different states, and of course, some italians. It is hard to understand what they are saying and it makes it very entertaining to try and talk to them. Jerry was our waiter, and we sang to him and taught him a cheer, along with another table of italians at the restaraunt. They went crazy when their team on tv won a soccer game. Also we went shopping and site seeing in verona. We saw Juliets balcony and the Arena. A popular job here is to be a statue. There are many people standing as statues around the city. The food here is delicious, we have eaten ALOT!It is hard to know what you are ordering, since the menus are in Italian. But most of the time, whatever they bring you on your plate, is very good. We are all attempting to try new foods. So far the trip has been a blast, and our teammates are great! We are all the normal stereotypical cheerleader; loud and crazy, which makes this trip alot of fun. We cannot wait to see what the rest of this adventure has in store for us. (:
