European Tournaments Tour Update

The group did compete in the Lowlands Tournament where they did a great job.
Although the team did get a penalty for not showing up at their first game (0:5 for USAAI vs. Bremen - as the team was still at the airport and could not participate in the first game) they turned everything around in the following games.
The USAAI team did win 8:0 against Karlsruhe 2 and 6:2 against Karlsruhe 1.
In the game against South Hampton the team succeed with an impressive 12:0 and the game gainst Hampstead did end 2:0.
The semi-finals gainst the Irish All Stars the USAAI team did manage to win 5:3.
In the finals the USAAI team did win 8:1 against the Amsterdam Lions and turned out to be the tournament winner.

As well the group did have some time to explore the beauty of the city of Amsterdam and the nearby beach.
Of course there was also time to visit the famous Heineken Brewery where the group did get to learn about the art of beer brewing.

Straight from Amsterdam the group did go to Munich on Tuesday where they did spend a relaxed afternoon in the city center.
Today the group continues their journey to Vienna and stops in Passau.
I will be sitting in the office - rather jealous of Fifi - while he and the group are bathing and chilling at a lake.
After some friendly games against a local selection in the afternoon the group will have a delicious grill out session with the other team.
Life can be so beautiful ;-)
