The next day the group did explore the city center on a guided tour.
After visiting the most important sights as for example the Brandenburger Tor the group did stroll along the Kurfürstendamm - the famous shopping boulevard.

On their third day in Germany the group did compete in the Berlin Open tournament.

Of course the teams also did have some time to party during the tournament days ;-)

On their last day in Berlin the teams did visit the East Side Gallery - an international memorial for freedom and possibly the largest and longest-lasting open air gallery in the world..
More precisely, it is an about 1,3 km long section of the Berlin Wall painted by various international artists.
The group did get to hear some interesting facts about the history of Germany and the famous Berlin Wall by a contempory witness which also did paint the wall.
Afterwards the USA Athletes did enjoy a boat ride along the river Spree and did get to see some more sights of Berlin.

After this exciting day, the group did prepare for their departure back to the USA.
I think they will bring a lot of beautiful memories home to their beloved ones.
